#IMWAYR May 18

It's Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It's also a great chance to see what others are reading right now… who knows, you might discover that next “must read” book!

Our Kid Lit to YA version is hosted by Teach Mentor Texts and Unleashing Readers.

GREAT IDEA! Check out all of the What Are You Reading? participants for title ideas.
First of all if you didn't enter the giveaway for a fun summer read in #gabbyduran please go back to last Monday's post and do so right now! The rafflecopter will close tonight and the winner will be announced tomorrow. On my birthday. ;)

Then I would also recommend Stuart Gibb's Big Game as I just finished that one. It's not out until October, though. Just noticed that. I am TERRIBLE at blog calendaring and scheduling of when to actually read E-ARCS. So ... if you haven't read Belly Up GO READ THAT ONE first. As it is still my favorite. Then there is also

Ever, ever, ever so funny. Even better that it's set close to home.

  1. I think my favorite Gibbs book is Space Case. And three more days to roll out of bed here. Cleaning the library and calling parents about overdues today.

    1. I haven't actually read that one yet! But I did pick it up at the public library yesterday. Don't make it down that way very often ... only on days off and over the summer. Just so NOT between school and home. We have ... two more weeks with kids. And a week after that. If you're still heading to BEA have fun! If not ... enjoy the last week and start of vacation! I will not even mention how long my first round of overdue reports was. We kill a lot of trees at the end of the year.

  2. Stuart Gibbs is very popular in my library. I have readers creating reserve lists for the new books that haven't even arrived yet!

    1. It's so bad ... I never got to his Spy books and the one was on the Bluebonnet list. This is the only series by him I've actually read. Remedying that with Space Case as soon as I can. Then the Spy ones.

  3. I hope I can join BookaDay this summer! This is the first time I'm reading about Stuart Gibbs' picturebooks, will have to be on the look out for his titles next time I visit the library.

    1. They're chapter books ... but they are fun. I'm about halfway through his ... is catalog the right word? Read about half of his books. Looking forward to more.
