I enjoy reading your posts and getting ideas for my library.
OK. I'm a total dummy. Can't find your email on your blog profile?
I have not heard of those books. Who are the authors?
Dinosaur Vs. the Library is Bob Shea. Very short and silly but the kiddos loved it. Library Lion is by Michelle Knudsen. Not actually a super short read aloud but very cute and beautifully illustrated. Sent you the bookmarks! ;]
Or ... I was going to because I knew where to find your blog. But I can't find an email. #alreadylosingmymojoanditsonlyday6ofschool
Sorry about that. My email is email@example.comThink I might have a couple of books to add to my wish list. Thanks! =)
Love Love Love The Library Lion. It isn't a short read, but I have my kinders ROAR their loudest roar whenever Lion does, and they get a big kick out of that. I think that it is such a fun intro to the library. I adore Dinosaur vs. Bedtime, but had no idea there was one for the library. So putting that on my list for my next order. ~Sonya
No ... you're right. As is it's not a short read. I take a few artistic liberties with the read aloud. Is that terrible? It just works better with a big group to shorten it a bit. As is it's more fun with just one or two little ones. Like nieces or nephews on laps. ;]
I've just discovered your blog. I'll be back often. Would love the firstname.lastname@example.org
Saw your blog on sharing the shelves blog. Would also like the booksmarks. Thanks.email@example.com
I would love a copy of the bookmarks! Sounds like great books to share and a quick activity during the first checkout.
Hey! Would love to send them but I can't find your email through your blogger profile. Send me a message at mso at msoreadsbooks dot com and I'll get 'em on their way!
I love reading The Library Lion to classes at the beginning of the year. I had seen Dinosaur vs. the Library before but never thought of using it at the beginning of the year. Thanks for the idea!
Love library lion - super cute and easy. I'd love a copy of the bookmarks too if you still have them.
I would love to do this with my first graders! I'd love a copy of the bookmarks!! THANKS!
I actually just reposted this post as a "Throwback Thursday" with the link easier to get at. Find it here.http://www.msoreadsbooks.com/2013/08/throwback-thursday-roar-in-library.html(And my apologies for not remembering the html code to make the link immediately clickable. First week of school brain drain and all.)
