This is an older post but they are still one of my favorite bookmark sets (I'm a school librarian and that's one of the things I like to make, besides lessons!) so here you go! The little boys LOVE them. And lots of girls, too. Like me. ;]

My sister and I are going to PEI ... hopefully next year. One of my few "girly" tendencies (never liked pink or princesses) has always been Anne.



I think I gained twenty pounds just looking at this.



This outfit is totally me except for trade out the heels for Green Converse. And now, looking at it more closely, the sparkly bracelet for green leather.

 Wow. None of these are school or library related. That is strange for me. I really do use it a lot for lesson planning.

Seuss a Day Early

I would have SWORN I'd seen these on Pinterest somewhere. And then last night when I went to look for a pattern because I was not feeling creative? Couldn't find 'em. Sigh. Several kids wanted to take theirs home immediately. We had Sneetches and Hortons and a Grinch. Here are three Loraxes and a Barbaloot.

Then I got the pattern for these from ... TPT. Who was it again. Will have to go check. Comment if you want the link. Totally worth it! I love looking around the library and seeing all of the funny hair. 

So I'm working on appreciating the present. It's hard, sometimes. Will keep on trying to teach the kids and amuse myself.

Our Lorax Bulletin Board...

So I tried to tweet this pic earlier today but ... I did something wrong. Or it's just the terrible reception in the library. But here is our Lorax bulletin board, very much inspired by this one found via Pinterest.

And actually since this we had a teacher who loved it so much she went back and on her lunch break whipped out a couple Barbaloots. So they're on there now.
